Tupelo Comcast employee Lane Watts was one of only two employees chosen nationwide to be featured in Comcast NBCUniversal’s corporate United Way video. This video will be used at Comcast campaigns all across the U.S.
Lane’s son, Gavin, was diagnosed with autism a few years ago and he has been receiving services from the Regional Rehabilitation Center since 2013. In the video, Lane and his wife Beth talk about what a difference Regional Rehab has made for Gavin and how much it has meant to their family to receive these services at no cost to them.
Lane spoke to his coworkers during the local Comcast office’s recent United Way campaign and really emphasized what an impact their gifts can have for local agencies like Regional Rehab and for families like his.
A team from Philadelphia traveled to Tupelo this summer to film interviews with the Watts and see what Gavin does at the Rehab Center. Click below for a few photos from the video shoot.
We are very excited for one of our partner agencies and a local family to be highlighted in this video that will be shown to hundreds of employees across the United States. Thank you to Comcast, Regional Rehab, and the Watts family for sharing!
