Chelsea is a single mother of three who once worked three jobs just to make ends meet. Her life began to change when she entered the Habitat program. After completing sweat equity hours on other families’ homes, attending monthly classes, and helping build her own, Chelsea received the keys to a home she could truly call her own at an affordable cost. With the stability of homeownership, Chelsea was able to quit two of her jobs, earn a promotion at work, and spend time helping her children with their homework. She even expanded her family by adopting a dog from the Tupelo-Lee Humane Society.
