Basic Needs

The United Way of Northeast Mississippi invests in agencies and programs that help those who need it most.  Along with local agencies we are meeting people’s basic needs; such as, housing, food, clothing and assistance with tax credits and public benefits that is needed to get people back on their feet.

Everyone has felt the effects of the economic downturn, but we try to help those most vulnerable.   There are many who have been sent into a deeper crisis or into financial troubles for the first time.
